Who is Simonee?
Simonee is a California homeowner who started her battle against the banks in 2007. She is currently in litigation against the wrongful foreclosure and is pursing the loan originator for TILA/RESPA and fraud in the origination claims. Her different litigations are winding their way through both State and Federal Courts; in some of the litigations she is pro se and some she has retained legal counsel.
In the past three years Simonee has logged over 3,000 hours studying the law and the whole mortgage debacle that has robbed so many American’s of their homes. This website does NOT contain legal advice or recommendations; instead the blogs are observations that will hopefully assist other homeowners in their legal fight against wrongful foreclosures and unlawful detainers. As Simonee learns of different processes (like how to write a demurrer, writ of mandate, use Google Scholar for case research, how to shepardize a case, how to get discovery, etc.) she writes about her experience and shares what worked and what has not worked.
There are amazing sites that are full of information about the abhorrent behavior of the US financial institutions we all once trusted – Livinglies, MSFRaud.org, Foreclosure Hamlet, etc. There are sites that are geared to the financial savvy users such as Naked Capitalism, Credit Slips, etc. There are legal sites that have a bevy of information for the general public such as Google scholar, Nolo, Onecle, etc. If information is shared from those sites they will always appear on the “free members” section with direct credit and links to the sites; if it is information that Simonee has spent hours gathering into one place or developing, it will be in the member’s only section or put on the site for purchase.
