    • I would do my home work first go to the county rcdoreer where by state law the land titles is to be recorded. Along with the loan. It seem a lot of the titles were not and it seem the mortgage company lost/destroyed the titleIf not recorded talk to a lawyer see what that means. You may be trying pay for a very clouded title on land that you can not sell. Not only that some of the mortgages was sold for full amount to three or more companies. Which may all come looking to you to pay.

    • No. It was just the way things trneud out. I doubt that this is a common problem. Your headline had me hoping for something with teeth in it. The owner was lucky to get a MOD anyway, though Ive seen mods that were not as good as the original loan! Mods were a GIANT SCAM anyway. OBummers plans were open ended. The only people who could qualify for a mod were those who had no income problems and had good credit. HAMP should have been called HEMP, because one had to be smoking pot to live through the whole stinking process only to be trneud down after months and then owe a huge back due to the lender.

    • I need help! B of A foreclosed and sold my house under my nose! They lied for two years! I was told by various people from the bank 3 different investors for my loan. How can that happen? I smell something fishy. How can they get away with that??

    I sure wish I had found this book BEFORE I first began my fight. Against a 3rd party buyer. I have managed to fend them off and remain in my home since the UD was filed on 4-30-2012. Had trial court two and a half weeks ago on a Monday. We went before a Commissioner who stated she would hope to make her ruling by ‘Wednesday’ (2 days following). As of today at 10 am (17 days later) still there is no ruling! This is Cruel and Unusual punishment! LoL! Don’t know if you’re handing out free advice or not but I sure would love to get some opinions on this from people that are “In the Know”!

      I too have kept a property in my name after a bidder won at the aution by filing the objection to sale.I hear that one may be able to fend off the bidder indifinately.

      He has since been diagnosed with mental illness thereafter committed a crime, is currently awaiting trial in the medical North Tower in los angeles.
      We built this house in 2006. I signed a quit claim for refi-purposes only. We are married 18 years. 90% of the time I was the communicator with GMAC.
      The note was assigned to receiver greentree, I also dealt with them on trying to do a loan mod. They were aware my husband fell ill, in custody — further, my children and I are Victims of Crime. Soon as they learned he was in custody, greentree would NOT speak with me anymore. I had to get a poa.
      Once I got them the poa, they accelerated a trustee sale. Which I stopped with the help of a lawyer who failed me by not filing documents for an extention. Therefore, the stay was lifted and I was sanctioned not to file for 160 days. A month later, or less on 9/20/12 the home was bought by the bank at auction for 820K what is owed on the house is 720K.
      Missed payments started in February 2012. Once I provided them a POA, greentree seemed to hide from me etc., I would get the notices 3 day notice to pay rent, eviction .. .in a stack taped on a door. Finally my 17 year old son was served.
      I am a victim of domestic abuse with 3 kids, my spouse was a victim of a wrongful termination in the guise of a lay off (he was a cfo) he is now mentally ill in custody at the norh tower. My children and I are crime victims. I hope you can help me. 626 393 4878 text

  34. I live in an REO Repisession that was foreclosed and sold at auction in december. I lived there with my ex boyfriend for the past 10 years. his parents WERE the owners. my ex moved out to new homes built on his indian reservation and left me in the house. he comes by and harasses me and some of his parents personal items are still in the house. We aren’t on good terms and his parents don’t like me. so he came by today and told me they are coming there with police this weekend to kick me out and lock the place up. cuz they aren’t just gonna hand me over they’r house. LOL the power is in my name and i have proof of mail from 10 years ago but i am neither the homeowner or a tenant under any lease agreement. if Capital One Bank bought it at auction in december, so his parents are no longer the homeowners, DO HIS PAREN TS HAVE ANY BASIS OR RIGHTS TO EVICT ME? WHAT ARE MYRIGHTS IN THIS SITU ATION? since he has been gone i have done a lot of work cleaning and fixing up the place. NOBODY has even come by there and talked to me or checked on the place or anything. HOW LONG BEFORE SOMEONE FROM THE BANK COMES AND CHECKS ON THE PLACE OR ALLOW SOMEONE TO LIVE IN THEIR HOUSE?
